Alison

Director

My name is Alison, I qualified as a beauty therapist in 2009 working at spas and salons around Dorset. I have worked at The Beauty Centre since February 2020, in that time I had the privilege to become a part of the most amazing team.

In 2025 Katie and myself had been given the amazing opportunity to buy the salon from Rachel with the dream of keeping the salon friendly and fun with also putting our own touches on the salon.

I am passionate about many beauty treatment such as facials, including microneedling, peels and Microdermabrasion making the clients feel pampered.

I also like waxing and eyelash extensions as it gives am immediate result and I can also have a good catch up with my clients.

I began my journey at The Beauty Centre in 2017 as a Beauty Therapist and have been fortunate to grow and develop my career over the years. In 2025, I was incredibly honoured to be given the opportunity to become one of the salon owners.

I will be forever grateful for the support, encouragement, and guidance that Rachel has provided throughout my career. Her belief in me has enabled me to grow, develop my skills, and ultimately reach this exciting milestone. I am delighted to be sharing this partnership with my colleague Alison as we take on Rachel’s legacy and continue to provide the exceptional service and standards that The Beauty Centre has always been known for.

I am passionate about all aspects of the beauty industry and love the variety of treatments we are able to offer our clients. My favourite treatments include electrolysis, advanced electrolysis, laser treatments, threading, and all facial treatments, including skin peels and microneedling.

I look forward to welcoming both existing and new clients and continuing to help people look and feel their very best.

I joined The Beauty Centre in 2024, and I have been qualified since 2013. Since then, I’ve been on many more courses, updating my skills and learning different skin brands and treatments. I enjoy making my clients feel relaxed and good about themselves. My favourite Clarins product is the hand and nail treatment cream. I enjoy all treatments as not one day is the same.

I have been a Senior Therapist at The Beauty Centre for 4 years. I love my job. I really enjoy talking to clients and doing treatments that give an instant end result. The treatment I am most passionate about is Eyelash Extensions as you can always see such a difference.

Hi, I’m Kirra. I’ve worked in the beauty industry for over five years and love being able to offer a range of treatments to clients. I’m passionate about helping people feel relaxed, confident, and happy with their results. I’m always looking to build on my skills and expand my knowledge so I can continue to provide the best treatments and care for clients.

Apprentice

I started at the beauty centre in September 2024 where I was a Saturday girl for a while. My beauty therapy journey started in September 2025 where I became an apprentice and started my learning. My favorite treatment to do so far is waxing but I can’t wait to learn more skills. I love my job and meeting new people and they are always so lovely.

Receptionist

I joined the team at The Beauty Centre in September 2021 having worked as a receptionist at a GP practice for 20 years. I love working with the lovely team of girls and meeting the friendly clients. The Beauty Centre is a great place to work.
